Posted On: 06/27/2017 Finally I found the best dentist ever. I was so scared and anxious every time I go to the dentist coz its not pleasant going to a dentist, I end up not having a dental checkup for so many years due to that unpleasant experience. But I really needed to take care of my teeth due to my teeth getting bad and hoping it is not too late. So, I searched for a new dentist thru online and I decided to try Cervantes & Prado dental care and I'm so glad I made the right decision. I email them and Gab responded to me by calling me and the first thing she said to me is they're not there to judge when I said I'm ashamed of showing my teeth. My very first visit is wonderful, very professional and friendly staff. Maria is a very nice dental assistant. Dr Prado is excellent and great dentist and Gab explained to me in details the proposed tx plan. Wow! On that first visit I feel so much at home. My next visit its Dr. Cervantes who did an extraction and deep cleaning, that was the most pleasant experience for me, he's very gentle that I never feel the pain. I was very uncomfortable on my previous experience on deep cleaning but this experience with Dr. Cervantes, I was very comfortable, he make sure that I'm ok, excellent job, 2 thumbs up, A+ for you Dr Cervantes. Stephanie is also great dental assistant. And they call and check on me after post op, just to make sure I'm doing ok. Very caring staff. After just a couple of visits to this place, I definitely give this place 5 ⭐️. Now, I don't feel afraid going to a dentist, instead I'm looking forward to see this excellent and great dental team.......Thank you so much everyone, you guys are the best Lorlinda A

Posted On: 02/01/2015 I really like both Dentists. The whole staff were friendly, and made me feel at ease. I just started going to
them and have already recommended them to my family. I have a difficult mouth and Dr. Cervantes was
great. He was looking at the positive ways to help me. I also like that they offered sedation if needed.

away your best choice. It is important to understand that when choosing a Dentist there are so many
things to consider. With Dr. Cervantes and Dr. Prado you get everything.
This is a family run Full Service Dental Office with affordable prices and the best staff you will ever find.
You will feel like family here. I have had Cavities filled, Partials , Root Canals, Deep cleaning , Crowns ,
Posts , Tooth Extractions and even Implants all done right here. Just go see them and for something like
$20 they will do a x-ray and consultation tell you what you need and work out a way to make it happen
for you. You will be able tell right away you have made the right choice. Sean B
Posted On: 04/22/2014 I have been coming to see Dr. Cervantes for 2 years now and recently was given the opportunity to see Dr. Prado. I can honestly say that both of them give excellent care. And it's not just the dentists, alll of the staff here are professional, friendly and make you feel welcome. I have referred this office before and will do it again. care about their patients. I have been treated by both of them so I can honestly say that they helped me
feel comfortable during the dental procedures.
If you are looking for a Dentist that prioritize their patient's needs, you will be in good hands at their
practice.

Posted On: 06/13/2013 After having a horrible experience with Western Dental i NEVER wanted to visit a dental office again!! i woulda rather had my teeth rott out of my head (which they were).. but my sister found this place and ohh did they change me and my attitude towards dentists! Dr. Cervantes i want to say is THE best dentist in the WORLD! lol. (cant really say) but he is gentle, explains everything thoroughly and made me love getting my teeth worked on!! i tell everyone i know if they need dental work done that this is the place to go!! Posted On: 09/04/2012 I do not write reviews, but because there business practice and staff exceeded our expectations. My wife was very happy with the work done. I had to write this review a week later after my last appointment because I felt the same about their service. I thought all should know; I had a lot of work done and my wife not so much. The service and the smiles were the same every time on the phone or in the office, and they knew us by name. When we arrived for our appointment they were always on time and never having us wait. On a scale from 1 to 10 and 10 being the best we rate this business a 10+ Raymond F
Posted On: 08/15/2012 Out dentist of 20 years retired 2 years ago and he was a tough act to follow. After going to a half a dozen inept, bill-padding, funky ' professionals' we finally found a great dentist! Dr. Cervantes is everything you want in a dentist - skilled, considerate, honest and available! He fixed the painful work his predecessor had done and now my daughter can chew on both sides. Excellent work, reasonable prices, no phantom cavities, gentle, thorough, wonderful. Adrian D

Posted On: 01/21/2012 I was in the bay area on business and a filling fell out. I needed to see a dentist right away. I ended up at Cervantes & Prado.
Dr. Cervantes treated me. He was very accommodating. He made sure I was comfortable at all times. After he put a new filling in he really went the extra mile to make sure it was just right. He did not rush through it like other dentists I have been to. He had me bite down and grind my teeth several times and made adjustments to the filling until it felt just right. My coworker was with me. He decided to have a check up & cleaning since he was riding with me. He also spoke highly of Dr. Prado.
I live in the Los Angeles area, and I will make a trip back to Cervantes & Prado for my next dental visit. It is worth the trip. They were very honest and reasonable, unlike most other dental offices I have been to. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Posted On: 11/18/2011 Dr. Rupert is awesome! He did a filling on a tooth that has been bugging me for months and it didn't hurt at all!. He was super nice, kept me well informed and answered all my questions prior to having the work done. I told him I didnt want to be numb too long after the appointment and he sure did keep his promise; he gave me an injection that kept me numb for an hour or so; I was able to eat immediately after. I will be going back to him very soon and referring friends/family around the area! Christina C

Posted On: 04/20/2011 Best Dental experience and care I have EVER had. I had almost all of teeth overhauled :-) and was scared Cervantes was not going to be able to save a few. HE DID IT. I had several root canals and caps, fillings and NO PAIN. The staff are the nicest with very caring qualities and I actually miss them I was there so many times for all the work he did (Dr. Cervantes) His wife Dr. Prado was very nice and seemed to have the same caring qualities and experience as her husband Dr. Cervantes. It was hard to say goodbye when I was finished, but I can't say enough about this Dental Team. I am truly grateful and have no problem referring them to anyone and continue to stay a patient as long as I can. Ronda R
Posted On: 03/08/2011 If you read thru my past reviews you will see that I only write reviews on my best and worst experiences. Therefore my posts should either serve as referrals or warnings. lol. In this case, please take this review as a referral.
I don't go to the dentist nearly as often as I should and I find when I do it's never a pleasant experience except in this case. Everyone in the office is so friendly and welcoming. If you're in search of a good gentle dentist then look no further!

Posted On: 02/26/2011 Everyone here is so nice! They are VERY gentle and tell you step by step what they are going to do right before they do it.
They have conversations with you to distract you from what's going on, cause we all know no one likes going to the dentist!
I've only been in twice and they already memorized my name.
The office is very clean, there is a tv in the waiting room.
Would recommend them!

Their prices are affordable for uninsured people like me.

In the last year ive been to three dentists with nothing but bad treatment, horror stories, and felling like a disposiable customer.I then had the tremendous fourtune to have been refered to this married coulpes privete practice, from a friend of a friend.( whom i owe a debt of gratitude and a nice lunch!) on my frist visit which was only to be a 20 minute inspection... they made the time to do a much needed extration, that all three previouse dental places refused to do.Stating i would have to be seen by a specialist. Afterwards when I explaned this to Dr. Cervantes, without missing a beat he replied ('Well, I was never one to back down from a good fight!) he had me at- iwas never one to back down! I can say enough about this dental office. No long waits,really listens to you,quality work, attention to detail.phomenal poeple! The only insurance I had was county (CMSP), most places refused me previously . they however treated me no different than if i had brought cash with me.If you want to be treated like a king or queen Lee S
Posted On: 11/09/2010 I had lost my dental coverage secondary to retirement. The dentist I went to for over 14 years informed me that I needed 2 crowns and 2 root canals. There was no room for payment plans. They simply wanted their money up front. (approx $2500)..
I interviewed various dentists and I found the Cervantes and Prado staff very professional and caring.
My dentist was the BEST!. No pain, procedures needed and explained in a very understandable fashion. The staff are just as wonderful as he is. The office has a nice 'homey' feeling to it.
My appreciation goes out to everyone 'Thank you' for providing your excellent service to the community. I am very grateful for your excellent work.
I have found my 'forever' dentist and encourage you to try them. I know you will be very pleased

I wanted to take the time to commend you for your excellent care. Though my insurance was less than adequate I received your professional pride in your work with courtesy and understanding. You helped me immediately when I had an emergency problem and the color match and appearance of my crowns is excellent. Posted On: 07/08/2010 I brought both of my unemployed adult daughter's here. They accept uninsured and treat with dignity. Also online there is a 9.95 special for exam and exrays!!! No kidding! Gentle too, and they speak Spanish as well Bueno. I like this place! Haanpaa H
